A great visual introducing QR codes and suggesting how they may be used in education. I think these are going to just become more popular as more people feel comfortable with using their smart phones for mobile learning.
I'm sure you would recognize them though. Have you ever used a KWL chart (Know/Want/Learn) to prepare students before reading. Advance organizers take a variety of forms but the purpose is to activate background knowledge, stimulate questions and predictions before a learning task (particularly reading).
